The concomitant use of OXYCONTIN and CYP3A4 inducers can decrease the plasma concentration of oxycodone [see Medical PHARMACOLOGY], resulting in reduced efficacy or onset of the withdrawal syndrome in patients which have formulated physical dependence to oxycodone [see WARNINGS AND Safety measures].
